Join us Sunday

Well, Well, Well

Our focus on the third Sunday of Lent centers around the woman at the well, a Samaritan woman Jesus engages, to the great surprise of his disciples.  Even she herself is surprised that Jesus is speaking with her.  To add additional context and emphasis, the gospel goes on to say that “Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.”  Jesus is full of surprises, particularly to those who expect him to follow the ways of the world.  Speaking of the world, today’s gospel by the very words and actions of Jesus, shines light on the previous chapter of John (3:16-17), and reminds us that the great profession of good news for the world to all who believe, is not just poetic hyperbole, but authentic tangible mission.

What people are saying about our church

Saint Martin is a wonderfully warm and caring congregation. I have been attending regularly and have found a church home with traditional Christian worship and genuine Christian values.
